Privacy Policy
Effective date: 10/17/2026
Chicken Stealer Rush ("the game") is made by Karberus Studios ("we"). This policy explains what information the game collects, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Player account: when you play as a guest, the game creates an anonymous player ID through Unity Authentication. We don't ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Player name: the name you choose appears on public leaderboards and to opponents in live matches.
- Game progress: your cards, goblins, currencies, chests and settings are stored on your device and backed up with Unity Cloud Save so you don't lose them.
- Live matches: when you play a live match, your player name, Golden Eggs, camp, goblins, deck and emotes are shared with your opponent so the match can be set up and shown. Matches connect through Unity's relay service, which processes your IP address to link the two devices. One player's device runs the match and sends the game state to the other.
- Gameplay and device data: Unity Analytics records how the game is used (for example matches played, tutorial completion, chests opened) plus basic device information (model, operating system, country, crash reports). We use this only to improve the game. Analytics starts only after you agree to it, and you can turn it off in Settings.
- Purchases: in-app purchases are processed by Google Play. We receive confirmation of what was bought, never your payment details.
- Advertising: if you choose to watch a rewarded ad, our ad partner Unity LevelPlay and its networks may collect your device's advertising ID and ad interaction data to show and measure ads.
How we use it
To run the game and save your progress, match you with other players, show leaderboards, deliver purchases and ad rewards, fix bugs, and balance and improve the game. We don't sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Your opponent in a live match sees the details listed under Live matches. Otherwise, only the service providers that run these features: Unity Technologies (accounts, matchmaking and relay, leaderboards, analytics, cloud saves, ads) and Google (purchases). Their own privacy policies apply to the data they process.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your player account exists. You can delete your account and its data at any time from Settings, Delete my data, or by emailing us. Deletion removes your player ID, cloud save and leaderboard entries.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections.
